Brake Light Signal Module

When something new comes along that con possibly save lives and save our bikes from getting nailed by sleepy motorists we're interested. This neat little Brake Light Signal Module from Signal Dynamics Corporation sticks to the top of my oil tank under the seat and makes me much more visible to automobiles. It flashes the brake light automatically with three short pulses and one long one in a continuous pattern whenever the brake is applied. At a stop light or a stop sign, as long as the foot brake or hand brake is being squeezed, the flashing pattern continues to alert motorists that you are there. Not only has the Broward County (Florida) Sheriff's Office already outfitted its entire fleet of motorcycles and squad cars with more than 100 of the units, but it's a snap to hook up to your brake light. All you do is make two connections in the the circuit between switch and light using easy to follow directions. You already know that there's enough to worry about when you're at a stop with your bike in gear ready to roll. Who wants the additional worry of pumping the brakes to catch some yo-yo's attention so he doesn't rear-end you? On top of everything else, many safety instructors and state motorcycle license manuals recommend riders flash their brake lights at critical times and the Brake Light Signal Module takes care of that worry. Drivers following your bike will have an increased awareness and the chances of collision are then decreased. According to Signal Dynamics; the Motorcycle Safety foundation has tested out the unit and their testers think it's a great idea. The module is available for $34.95 from Signal Dynamics at P.O. Box 350441, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33335 or (954) 523-5959 - (800) 758-1814.
